Citroen C3 Electric recently spied testing in India, eC3 will be third car from The brand after C5 Aircross and C3, on which this EV hatchback is Based. According to Carlos Travares’ The globe CEO of Stellantis, “The all Electric Citroen eC3 will launch early next year”. Although he didn’t mention the exact launch date, it is likely to be in January after Auto Expo 2023.

Powertrain
The C3 Electric will have a battery capacity of 30.2kWh which will Use LFP cells, made by Chinese firm Svolt. However, the Company’s CEO said that “I would love to buy from an Indian supplier. The Range is expected to be around 300 km in real-life conditions but the ARAI range could be a lot more, which is not unusual. In Comparison, Tata Tiago EV has ARAI certified range of 250 km for medium range variant and 315 km for higher range variants.
The expected price of Rs 10-12 Lakh. allows this EV to enter in the most consumer Demanding Electric Car Segment in India.

Citroen C3 Electric is about to face tough competition with the Tiago EV, Tigor EV. These are the two cars that ruled India’s budget Electric car Segment.
