Hero Electric is the Biggest Electric Two Wheeler manufacturer in India by sales. At the Auto Expo 2020, Hero Electric Showcased New range of Upcoming two EV two wheelers, including AE-47 Motorcycle. This is gonna be one of the Premium offerings from Hero Electric. As soon as it launches, it will become the First Electric Motorcycle by Hero Electric.
DESIGN
The overall design of the bike seems modern with round LED headlights, edgy panel design and body graphics combination looks good. The bike gets front and rear disk brakes and there’s a high chance to get ABS in it, that remains to be seen.
Being a Smart Electric Motorcycle AE-47 features a fully digital instrument cluster, Keyless access, Cruise control, Riding modes, and the new but popular one “Reverse Gear”.
POWERTRAIN
The AE-47 will be powered by a 3.5kWh Lithium-ion battery pack and propelled by 6kW Electric Motor. Which helps the scooter to accelerate from 0 – 60kmph in 9 Seconds with Top speed of 100 kmph. The bike can go up to 85km in Power Mode and 160km in Eco Mode. It Takes just 4 hours to charge from 0-100%.
ESTIMATED PRICE & LAUNCH DATE
The Estimated starting price of 1.2 – 1.5 Lakh, will make this bike one the most premium electric two-wheeler ever made. Launch date is Expected around October 2023.
